  • Machine Learning: A two player game of Tron in which the computer player learns moves from the previous games. The game is built using PyGame.

  • BlueApp: An utility application built in Java, that allows two way communication between computer and cellphone. Users may view contacts, SMS, make calls from PC, as well as use cellphone like a remote to control the PC.

  • Virtual Boxing: The first ever Image Processing project in the club, it allows users to play a boxing match with the computer, by making their moves (punches), in front of the webcam. Built in OpenCV and the graphics are rendered in OpenGL.

  • Steganography: Digital Steganography is the art of hiding sensitive data in innocent looking cover objects. In this project, a software was developed which could hide one images/text inside another image.

  • Hex:Hex is a strategic board game played on a hexagonal grid. In this project, a hex game platform was developed where either a user can compete against the computer, or two different AI can play it.

  • Wireless Mesh Network: A wireless mesh network (WMN) is a communications network made up of radio nodes organized in a mesh topology. In this project, a wireless mesh network was made that works on windows 7.

  • Physics simulator: Physics simulator is a software which simulates the laws of physics. Various objects can be created, parameters like gravity can be set and an collision between objects can be detected.

  • Micromouse:This project aims to develop a JAVA based maze solver in fastest possible time.This will be later extended to put on the robots with the help of "Robotics Club"

  • Color to GrayScale Conversion Software: The project was aimed at developing a faster and efficient algorithm to convert a color image to grayscale format. The challenge was to get a richer output image which does not compromise on the detailed features of original color image.
  • A View of the Universe: The project was to create a web based JAVA applet which can generate a visual depiction of the planetary motion and the relative positions based on the date and time provided.
  • Course Management System: The project was to create a web-based course management system which can be used in educational institutions by instructors for grading and other purposes.-Anshu
  • Digital Circuit Simulator: The project was to create a JAVA application which can simulate the working of a digital circuit. The software allows for creation of custom circuits alongwith time varying circuits to give the output.
  • Stock Simulator: This is a web-based project which simulates the stock market and updates its quotes in real-time(with a max. of 20 min. Delay). The users are provided with some virtual money which they can use to purchase stocks virtually. The gains and losses for each user are accumulated and the ranklist is subsequently generated.
  • Othello: This is an AI-based project based on the two-player game Othello. The game has been developed in Visual Basic and allows PC vs Human match.
  • Scientific Calculator: The project was aimed at creating a Scientific Calculator with advanced functions like Graph-plotting. The Software was based on JAVA and makes use of the Swing API.
